This UPDATED feature - originally launched in 2016 - is exclusive to business profiles. When it first rolled out, it allowed end users to submit receipts via their work email. Now, it is integrated in-app and runs much, much smoother. Users can assign an expense code to their receipt - selected from a preset list. Receipts are then sent to the users company/management system.
In addition to submitting receipts with ease, Lyft also allows employers to analyze trip stats via monthly reports that embody the employees rides, routes and total cost.
Lyfts goal is to make work travel more fluid.
